Do both oxygen sensors need to be replaced when replacing the catalytic converter? My acura integra has 172000 miles on it and needs a cat converter replaced. Thanks,Jack

In principle it is good work practice to replace them to help the new cat work efficiently and last. Over time the sensors get "lazy" but it is all based on economics I guess! If the sensors are bad the computer in your car will flag them as bad but may not flag a marginal sensor.
