Car gets hot. Replaced thermo temp sensor. Top hose is hot lower hose cold.stop. open raditor no water .why notice air n system. What to do. Car still gets hot

I assume it is overheating and that is why your looking into the hose temperatures. you may have a restriction causing no flow, or bad waterpump propellers, or air trapped in the system. If it overheated than I would want to check for possible head gasket failure first.
