What is your question?
Heard nothing unusual. Car ran great before. It sat for two days in the pouring rain. It started and shifted fine, then after a few miles, I noticed that it was not running as usual. At low speed or at idle, the rpms fluctuated somewhat .After I parked, I noticed that I parked too close to another car. I tried to put car in reverse, but the shifter was stuck. I unstuck it by inserting my key in the little slot located close to the shifter. I was then able to move car. Whalen I left work approximately 10 hours later, I had to unfreeze the shifter in the same manner as before. The car ran somewhat roughly at lower speed. At a red light, I shifted to neutral and revved the engine. The engine responded perfectly, and sounded great. After light turned green, the car seemed sluggish. I accessed the freeway and car seemed to run fine at higher speed.
How long has your 1994 Acura Integra had this problem?

Hello, you are describing two different issues here. The first one is related to the shift lever release. The shift lever interlock relies on a signal from the brake light switch to release the shift lock. If it does not get this signal, it will not release. As a result, you either have a brake light switch issue, wiring connector issue, wiring issue, or shift lever issue. As far as the running situation, there is an engine performance problem that is too wide open in possible causes to guess from here. Hands on testing will be required to check the fuel delivery, ignition spark and air intake to see what is going on.
