We just replaced the clutch and now the reverse lights stay on, what to do?

Reverse light stay on while driving. We just replaced the clutch and this was not an issue prior to the clutch replacement. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Wires going to the reverse light switch, which is mounted on the transmission, were damaged during transmission R & R .. Suspect wires are shorted to each other... Not much else it can be! .. Find and repair damaged wiring.
