power windows do not work

If it is all the windows that work intermittently I would suspect bad electrical connections but you would need a wiring diagram and start trouble shooting the system, see where you have power and ground when the windows fail to work. Clean any corroded or bad electrical connectors and wiring and you may have to do a more complex test called a voltage drop test to see if the switches are failing.
