A small amount of liquid spilled onto the window switches tried drying them off but windows will not go up or down!

I have heard the switches and even the seat heaters are sensitive to spilled liquid. As a cleaning effort I would try the aerosol can of spray sold at radio shack for cleaning keyboards or ask them for an electrical circuit board cleaner. Check all fuses make sure none blew!
