What is your question?
I took my car in last November 15, 2015 after receiving several recall notices. I had experienced the power steering going out when I would pull in my drive way or slow to park. Now a year later, I'm having the same problem only worse. It took all the strength I had to keep from hitting a pole yesterday when I was trying to park. I called the dealership and Pontiac customer service. Both said I would have to pay $130.00 for diagnostic test and pay for whatever was wrong since the part was guaranteed for 1 yr. I missed it by 20 days. I was angry told them the original was defective and now the replacement appears to be defective. I got no help. Has anyone had this happen!

This is a relatively common issue on these cars unfortunately. Unlike independently owned repair facilities like mine, dealerships are strict on their warranties and adhere to them as such. I would suggest talking to the GM of the dealership your car was repaired at and see if they are willing to help you at all since it's less than 30days, if not feel free to give us a call and I'll be happy to see what I can do to help you
Thank you. I will give them a call.
Hi Im Mike, having same problem but GM is saying cause my vin is not part of the recall yet i have to pay for it myself or wait to see if they add my 2006 G6. Can you tell me what you ended up doing? How much was it? and was it the steering sensor? email back PLEASE
It's been my experience at my shop we typically have to replace the motor not just the sensor, I try and always find quality used ones that I can offer a 12/12 warranty with.
