Possible suspension issue

(1999 Buick Century)
in Columbia, SC on July 11, 2009
This car front end drags when going down a steep slope in a parking garage. Also when you accelerate or brake there is a popping noise in the front right wheel area.

I brought this car from a friend about 6 months ago and it has about 133,00 miles on it. Appears to have had all maintennace kept up to date.

The font of the car dragging when going down a steep slope may be a sign of weak suspension springs, it is the suspension springs that determine the ride height of the car, the shock absorbers control the damping effect of suspension travel as the suspension travels up and down. The popping sound is something that needs to be investigated as it could be something serious, unfortunately it is hard for me to guess at what the source of the popping sound without being able to dive the car and hear it first hand.
