part time light on jeep liberty is lit when in 2 wd position and goes out when in 4wd position

What is your question?

I was driving in snow and had to use 4wd to get out. after that the part time light stays lit when in 2wd. IT goes out when I put it in 4wd position. 2007 jeep liberty seems to run ok.
