Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. A P0300 code, indicating random misfires, can be quite frustrating. Keep in mind that if cylinder #1 is misfiring, it can also cause other cylinders to misfire. Since you’ve noticed it tends to happen in the rain, moisture could be getting into connectors, sensors, or other electronic components, causing a misfire. Inspecting engine wiring and connectors for damage that may allow moisture to get in would be a good place to start. Given the age of your vehicle, it may be worth checking if you have any existing powertrain warranties through the manufacturer. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered. Give us a call at 877-913-1554, and we will happily help you out!
