What is your question?
I have changed out the water pump, thermostat, and sensor, their are no leaks anywhere, car over heats when I’m idling but just today it’s overheating in all drive modes, don’t know if it matters but there’s also no a/c.
What makes this problem better or worse?
The car being on makes it worse

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Looks like your 2012 Cadillac CTS is throwing codes P1258 (engine overheating) and P0117 (coolant temperature sensor). Since you've already replaced the water pump, thermostat, and sensor, the issue might be with your cooling fan not kicking on, especially since it's overheating at idle. Check if the fan is running when the engine heats up. If not, it could be a faulty fan relay, a bad fan motor, or even an issue with the fan control module. The no A/C symptom could be related since many systems rely on the fan to cool both the engine and A/C condenser.
