overheating

What is your question?

after the car is running a short distance the car has steam and water/antifreeze flow out of the radiator over-flow plastic container. I have replaced the fan clutch, the thermostat seems to be working because my heater works in the car. What's going on? what needs to be fixed?

Sounds as thought the thermostat is stuck closed. This will heat up the coolant providing heat in the car but prevents coolant from getting to the radiator which is causing the car to overheat.
