overhaul engine

The book time shown to remove inspect overhaul and replace your engine is 34 hours plus parts ( gaskets rings bearings etc ) about $5000 but I see a short block available for $2425 plus shipping and the labor to install this short block is 25.5 hours which includes recondition your cylinder heads and the transfer of fuel electrical manifolds etc. this comes out to about $5000 also. I would look online for a engine rebuilding company in your area sometimes they have rebuilt exchange engines available.
