car won't go into overdrive, tranny has been rebuilt. Is there a cable adjustment? shifts fine all but overdrive...

You have an AOD transmission - which is not electronically operated. There is a throttle valve (TV) cable which should be mounted and adjusted correctly. It mounts at the transmission and at the throttle. Check that.
