over heating when car is in park

What is your question?

my car will overheat while in park but once I start driving or if I get on the freeway and get the car to 61mph the overheating goes down but if I stop and get out of the car and leave the car running the temp gauge goes almost to the red zone what can I do to prevent this from happening? desparate to find out.

It sounds like your electric cooling fans are not working or not working correctly. I would recommend to have the cooling system thoroughly check by a qualified technician. Overheating Aurora engines is not a good idea as they are prone to head gasket failures.
