OVER HITING AFTER DRIVING 10 MILES OR SO CAN ANY BODY ANSWER THIS

First thing to do, before you start your H3, is to check your coolant level. Is it full in the radiator and over flow bottle? If not, fill them to the correct levels with 50/50 anti-freeze and water. Then drive the 10 miles and when it starts to over heat, is there coolant boiling over like out of your over flow bottle and/or radiator or is just the gauge high? If yes, there is coolant boiling over then you need to do a full cooling system inspection and or have a good shop do it. If no, then feel your upper and lower hoses. They should be WAY TOO HOT to touch. Are They? If not, then it is a gauge or sensor/sending unit issue. Do you have to keep adding coolant to your vehicle and is there any whitish smoke from the tail pipe at times? If yes, you have to keep adding coolant, then a full cooling system inspection with a head gasket test is in order. Best of Luck!
