Only blows heat .out vents . Replaced blend door motor . Control head

What is your question?

Pull the control head back out and check the VACUUM CIRCUITS (them small vacuum tubes) .. Can be tested with a Mighty Vac or you can make a tester with some small vac hose and plastic vacuum hose connectors... Check for PROPER VACUUM to the control FIRST! .. **I done been there**! .. Push button OR knob is same proceedure. .. Most common problem I've found is failed//defective HVAC Controller.. Dorman has a good replacement controller available @ most parts stores.

When u say hvac controller do u mean the AC and heat control .I do know that there is vaccum lines going to the control but I didn't think the vaccum had anything to do anything with the blend door actuator . I've got the dash apart . Just asking . I'll take, all advice you can give . And mine is knob operated

READ what I just posted again!!!! .. Find the vacuum SOURCE tube.. Using the tester apply vacuum to different tubes and see if mode changes from vents to another position.. I bet it will..

Please bare w me . Am I checking for bad vaccum lines ,for leaking vaccum lines . I do know I have vaccum to my control because I could here it when I unplugged them . I'm just try ing to understand how I am going to check for proper vaccum . I do have a mighty vac. Please don't get aggrivated w me this car has drove me nuts buddy .

Simply apply vacuum to DIFFERENT vacuum tubes until you get it to change from vents to another position... IF it does change .. then you have your answer! .. I prefer using the made up test tool I mentioned. .. Piece of small vacuum hose with two 'straight' plastic vacuum hose connectors. Connect one end to vacuum SOURCS TUBE.. The other to different tube ports until it changes.

Hey I think I posted my question wrong . It's not just stuck on my vents my problem is the blend door for my heat and air. And the vaccum does not control that door . It's electronic only . The control is good and actuator is good what else could it be . I do see where the vaccum deals w the vent defrost and floor control .

Hey buddy . I figured it out and your not going to believe it . The actuator I bought from advance auto parts was the wrong one even though I told them manual knob not electric push button system . They sent me one for the electric ac system instead and they are identical . Plugss in and all . This is resolved after advance cost me 2 days . We all make mistakes . Thought u would like to know my out come
