I have a 99 seville sts, yesterday display said OIL PRESSURE LOW STOP CAR so I did. I checked the oil , it was 1 Qt. low I put in the oil and no more errors. Today the tack is is going from 700 rpms to 1200 rpms while the car idles in park but the engine is as quiet as can be. Do I need an oil pressure switch? an oil pump? whats the deal?
