What is your question?
I just got a 1995 4Runner with 253K miles on it and it runs, drives, etc. better than my 2000 Durango. The only concern I have is that the oil pressure runs lower than I'm used to seeing. When I'm idling, it hangs out below the first marker and when I accelerate, it hangs out just above the first marker. I'm getting it checked out at a shop in the morning by a mechanical gauge, but what would you say would be the proper running pressure for it? (According to the dash gauge, that is.) Should I be concerned about the oil pump?
Is that the kind of thing that I would need to take apart the engine for and replace bearings or something, or is it just as simple as putting really thick oil in? I just don't really want to do a simple little fix only to have it bite me later on. I will also say the I can hear the lifters VERY lightly ticking when it idles....still a concern?
