oil pressure gauge not working

What is your question?

I have a 1997 ford f250 xlt 460 and the oil pressure gauge reads about 1/2 way with the engine running or off. I pulled wire off the sender, grounded it and no change on the gauge. Is the gauge bad and where can i get one? thanks
