Oil overload

(1995 Volkswagen Cabrio)

I have put too much oil in my 95 ca brio .... I need to know how to get it out, I have nil experience with VW , there is a pressure build up due to the oil over load.... car still drives ok but I hear noise after the motor is turned off,
I am waiting to repair it untill i drive again ....

You will have to open the oil drain plug on the bottom of the oil pan. You will have to jack up the car (support with jack stands for safety) and open the drain plug draining the excess amount of oil in to a drain pan. Drop the car down on level ground recheck the oil level with the engine off. start the engine and run for a minute , look to see there are no leaks. Switch off the engine and recheck the oil level. VW may set a Check Engine light isf there is to much oil in the engine as some of this excess oil gets drawn into the intake manifold.
