I believe that the oil is leaking from the rear of the valve cover. Oil is dripping on the exhaust and smoking. A drop at a time about every minute.
after change aftermarket part, it helped the leaking from the side but the engine oil still leak about 1L per 1500 miles.
I bought the car knowing about the slight oil leak from the valve cover gasket. It's small but the smell is starting to annoy me.
Oil was leaking cloud of smoke and burning smell, had the gasket and engine cover changed, now I have an engine check light, so I'll find out what that is, but I did add oil and it went away, 3 days later it came back so I'm not sure, but no performance problems what so ever.
