oil lack

What is your question?

i change oil & filter in every 5000 km (3000 ml). every time the engine has a lack of 1 liter oil. at service center they say that it is normal for 3.2 L engine to lack up to 1 Liter oil in 5000 km. is it true or my engine has a failure?
