Oil gauge goes wild at times

should oil pump be replaced or is it just oil gauge going bad oil has never been bad as pressure! dosent leak and or use oil oil gauge goes wild high and low at time

Most likely it's that the oil pressure sending unit is failing and needs replacement. Check that first, and try an oil pressure test gauge if you have one. Then you'll know if the oil pressure's bad or the indicator system's bad.
