how many quarts of oil should i use because light is coming on that i have to drain some oil out i use 8 and 1 half thanks bob

According to this site http://napaonline.com/Search/Detail.aspx?A=VAR966_0149774796&An=599001+102001+50044+2044148# your engine holds 8.5 quarts but if you didn't change the oil filter its probably a quart over as the filter holds a quart
it take 7 quart with a new oil filter...check cluster for actual oil level check
