    OBD-II Code High voltage system may not operate is defined as a Hybrid Battery Pack Air Flow Valve "A" Control Circuit/Open

    The Hybrid Battery Pack has a ventilation system to maintain ideal battery operating temperature. The Battery Pack Airflow Control Valve controls how much air is allowed to flow through the system. If the airflow valve does not operated as requested, code P0AD5 will be set.

    High voltage system may not operate Symptoms

    • Battery temperature is hotter than it should be
    • High voltage system may not operate

    Common Problems That Trigger the P0AD5 Code

    • Battery Control Module Failure
    • Clogged battery airflow passageway
    • High voltage battery pack airflow control valve failure
    • Wiring issue
