OBD-II Code Decreased engine performance is defined as a Exhaust Gas Recirculation "B" Control Circuit Range/Performance

EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) systems are used to reduce the combustion temperature, thus reducing emissions. If the engine control module (PCM) detects the EGR is not operating as requested, it will set code P045B.
