Noisy a/c unit

What is your question?

I had just got back from a camping trip when I got home there was a clunking noise from the engine. I took a look and the a/c compressor clutch is rattling. The a/c still works but when the a.c is not on it rattles really bad. Any ideas out there?

The compressor clutch needs to be replaced, I don't know of any other repairs that can be made to the clutch other than replace.

Thanks. I just started to take this apart and found that the bearing is toast. Unfortunatly it is another $120 to get a replacement.
