Ok. Here's a good one.! Got a 2011 Porsche Panamera Turbo..recently installed motor from Porsche..(Do not know the actual mileage) The Porsche Tech cannot access the vehicle diagnostics through the OBD port to get all the computer data. This means the vehicle cannot connect to the NYSDMV computer to connect it to register it which will give us the inspection sticker for the current 12 month term. The Porsche scan tool (that very expensive diagnostic shop equipment) shows no access to the car's computer..! Guys, What's the issue here..!!!... (Porsche of Larchmont /Westchester County NY cannot deliver results.!

Kind of shocked that the Porsche dealership is having data link concerns. Has anyone bothered checking the fuse for that circuit? Regardless of vehicle, the fuse could be blown for some reason. On some vehicles, the data link shares the circuit with the power point / lighter socket, which can often blow fuses. This is the first place I would automatically check if I had a communication issue. I would think the Porsche dealership would do this...
