no reverse

What is your question?

Before i actually lost reverse, there was a smell of what seemed like something burning (chemical-like fluid or rubber maybe). Now when I engage reverse, it sounds like its just not fully engaging (not grinding sound), and does not move. Also 5th gear is now hard to engage.
