What is your question?
I am working on a 06 ford taurus that has a no crank no start. When you turn the key to crank all you get is the relays that click. No fuel pump no crank. When you try to read codes it will not communicate with computer. Checked fuses check neutral safety checked ignition switch checked battery checked starter all good. Car battery was dead when they went to start they put jumper cables on now no crank. Installed new computer with new keys it is not theft system. It is not relays it is not a ground problem. Everything else works perfectly fine on the car. I can jump starter and it cranks fine. I am a ase mechanic and have never ran into this problem before.
How long has your 2006 Ford Taurus had this problem?

Hello, I have a few different concerns here with your story. First: if you get clicking relays and no start, I would focus on a starting system issue - cables, battery, starter draw. How do you know you have no fuel pump operation? Are you measuring fuel pressure at the rail? A diagnostic tool not communicating with the processor is likely due to a blown data link connector / cigar lighter fuse. Or -- at least it WAS the probably cause before "installed new computer" -- What was the purpose of that? And by the way, Ford does not make a processor for this vehicle that does not utilize the PATS passive anti theft system. So it does need to be programmed. Honestly there is a lot of guessing without monitoring operation of components and performing testing. I get the direction, but you have to stop and consider theory and operation on how the engine would start, PATS signal required at the transceiver, full power to the starter from the battery, and so on.
1st,see/read other answer well. Next ask "they" when they connected the jumper cables, were there any sparks? test ALL fuses with a test light.also as stated in 1st answer for the new ECC or computer?>>>>OEM #5F1Z 12A650-HD, 5U7Z 12A650-DSC; *Requires Factory Reprogramming*....
