Replaced starter. ..then alternator acted up...replaced it...then replaced the megafuse...seemed to do well then it started back where it was after the starter replacement. Power steering failed , followed by total power loss......charged & jumped off the car...drove a couple miles and repeat...now engine will not even turn over with a good battery.....

When you say your power steering failed, it makes me think maybe there is a problem in the accessory drive area of the engine, where the belt driven by the crankshaft drives pulleys like the alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning system. If one of the pulleys is locking up, or if the belt is slipping, it can cause failure of the charging system, power steering and related components. This is just a guess however. Obviously a hands on diagnosis is the best step to take. I cannot guess, however, why your engine will not crank with a good battery. This is what you mean by "will not even turn over", right? Check that maxi-fuse, check all cables for clean and secure connections. Check to ensure the transmission shift lever is engaged properly in the park position.
Checked all of the above except pulleys and belt.....but I think it is important to note that the power steering is the electronic type and in my year model it was a recorded recall issue....and also (even without defect) would naturally malfunction in power loss situations. I plan to look at the end pulleys and belt as u suggested....thanks btw....but I don't think this is the issue....after the last repair ( replacing the 80 amp mega fuse ) the car drove fine....for a good 20 -30 minute ride....then was off about 15 9minutes while I changed a flat and cranked right up to drive another 3 miles...sat about 2- 2 1/2 hours....then malfunction began again within 2 minutes of restarting.. I plan to look into the onstage system causing power loss or security lockout....also checking the terminal connection at the bcm....then i will check the ignition cylinder and the pcm.....don't know where else this will lead me....BTW do you know of any limp mode on this model?
Fair enough, hadn't looked deep enough to find the electric power steering. Good luck!
Are you aware of a limp mode on this model? Also a friend said that you should not see sparks when you're connecting the battery cables....that it signifies a short on the wiring....do you believe this to be accurate? Sounded odd to me....
No, not aware, and no -- I would expect a little bit of spark when connecting the battery, but nothing major. Ensure you are disconnecting negative first, and connecting negative last...
