Hello, smoke is serious no matter what; is it accompanied by any odor? Physical inspection is needed under your circumstances to find out what is going on. No guessing in this forum can really help. Ensure all cabling is installed properly, all components installed properly, and polarity proper on the battery cables. If you have smoke, I would consider this a safety issue and consult local professional help as soon as possible.
