need to know the timing settings

The timing is non-adjustable on a Jeep. The Distributor is a Cam Shaft Sensor and should not be moved. It even says so on the Emissions Label. To set the static timing, put the #1 cylinder on top dead center of the compression stroke and then insert the distributor so it the rotor faces the #1 cylinder.
