Hey guys, i'm sorry it looks like everytime i want to submit an answer it will erase the previous one. So here i just found a video how to fix it. The guy didn't really fix it... But it is quiet good video to show you how to get into the ventiliation door. The only thing u'll have to do different is bring a long screw driver or any long piece of steel that u can use to shovle the door back up to its place till it clicks back to where it should be. U will hear the click and yes u will have to push hard, just make sure not to break it. Push forward and upward. Or use the method jimbonissan used and mentioned in his answer. Here is the link for the video http://youtu.be/WbzOkVOhMJ4
Jadyas, you are a genius! I just fixed mine too. In researching this online, there were all kinds of expensive and troublesome answers that just didn't sound right. The only problem I had was, after removing the fresh air filters, It took me a while to figure out where the door is. For others who may have this problem, the door is to the right of the filter opening and looks like a little drawbridge. You can shine a light on it while pushing the recirculate button and see it move. Apparently, it isn't supposed to come all the way down to a horizontal position, but is supposed to stop at about a 45 angle. I raised it to the up position, then stuck a large screwdriver in, then closed it on the screwdriver. Then I could push up on it and it clicked into place at the 45, just like Jadyas said. No more noise and works fine. Thank you Jadyas!
Looking for the answer to this also. Can't find Jadyas answer either.
Thank you very much!
