My van will not start

(1999 Ford Windstar)

1 1/2 yrs ago I was driving down the hwy an as I stepped on the gas I could here a clicking noise. The clicking only ocurred when stepping on the gas. As I let go of the peddle the clicking stopped. all of a sudden 2 minutes later the van stopped and never turned back on.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong with it? my van did the same thing last week and i had to replace a few fuses but after that it drove fine for a day and then did the same exact thing. I got it to start again but now the instrument panel does not work.

Hi! Same thing happened to my friend's windstar.....can you tell me why the dash quit and it wouldn't start? don-ohio (:^)
