Q: My truck dies amd on 1990 Isuzu Pickup

My isuzu truck when I turn the truck on the lights on dashboards stays on ,all gauges lights and today it die on me I jump start it and ran but this every 1/4 mile I check battery volts and read 11.30 volts is there a relay that controls charge or is the alternator,.

11.3 volts is not going to be sufficient to operate your truck, as you already have found out.

The battery needs to be fully charged first, which will bring it stand alone to about 12.6 volts.

Then, you can perform a charging system check and find out how many amps and volts are being put out at 2,000 RPM. I would suspect you have a faulty alternator.
