My Jaguar XJ8 Turn over but won't start.

I been driving my car with on problems. But one night I had just came home and parked. Then I came back out two hours later and got in my car. It started right up. I went to back up and it just stop. .I tried to start it up. It seems like it won't ed to start but wouldn't. .It's been sitting for about five months now.
