Checked fuse #17 and it is fine the switch lights up as if working but no heat ..could there be a relay and were is it located or a part#. I don't believe it is an element problem since they light up can you Please tell me what to look for next. Can it be a different fuse but my owners manual states fuse # 17. PLEASE help. They did work fine just stopped. Also my transfer case was leaking fluid but a bolt was missing came from the factory that way.Replaced the bolt hope it stops!!! I can't look anywhere since the repair manuals only go to 2009 online I NEED HELP

Hello, If the fuse is good, check for power at the heating element(s). If power is present, but the element does not heat, bad element. There should not be bolts missing from the transfer case, but if there were a missing bolt, replacing it may only slow a leak. There has to be a silicone seal between the halves of the transfer case, and once it is broken, the case must be split, and resealed. Let me know if you get power at the element, or not. Also, do not put "miracle sealants" into the transfer case. By that, I mean the bottles of fluid that say they stop leaks. They may even work, but your transfer case will be in jeopardy.
