What is your question?
My van does not blow hot air from the front vents. it does sometimes from the rear, but its not too hot either. I replaced the climate control already, but Is this because of the heating core? anyone else had this problem?

Hi, checks the engine coolant level if it's low add coolant. The engine needs coolant to circulate the heat through out the van and compare the amount of heat your getting to the engines temperature RULE (the warmer the engine the warmer the heat) you should receive plenty of heat with the engine temperature half way. If you don't receive any heat at all then the problem should be in the climate control system. Any questions contact my shop for further assistance
actually the collant level is at high and it stays there. though ive been noticing, the engine is not as hot as it used to be. i dont know why. So is that the reason im not getting hot air?
When you say not getting hot air, Do mean you have no heat or very little heat?
Hot air for few secs than just fan or no hot air at all.
It sounds like you have a clogged heater core. I would try a coolant flush and replace coolant thermostat, it’s a least expensive option. If the flush doesn’t work then you have no choice to replace the heater core. How many miles are on the van?
Actually, I took it to the workshop and they flushed the heater core pipes, added coolant and then said thats the best they could do. Then the car started to heat up, and i was told i had to replace the Thermostat ($25) . After replacing the thermostat, the car temperature returned to normal AND the heating started to work. So it was the thermostat all along. Thanks for all your help, really appreciate the help.
I am glad it worked out. Ted
