What is your question?
Where is the best point to check if voltage is getting to it and how do I go about getting to that test point. I don't think the bulb are busted. How do I go to check if the socket is corroded? It just stopped working. Suspecting it to be coming from the power supply because both stopped working at the same time. How do I check the power module or how do I get to the power module?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It just won't turn on all of a sudden
How long has your 2011 Kia Optima had this problem?

Hello, I'd share that the most common cause of fog lights not working is indeed bulb failure. Usually this is due to the lamps themselves being fractured -- the lenses cracked or broken. Water and bulbs don't mix well, damp or wet. Check bulbs first. Check for power and ground at the sockets if the bulbs are found to be intact. If no power and ground at the socket with the switch on, then trace the circuit backwards until you find the source of the concern. Note that you'll need a wiring diagram if you want the best resources to find out what's going on. Don't think about "power modules" until you do the leg work of checking the wiring all the way along the way. Again, a DVOM and wiring diagram is essential. I have a 2013 optima and my fogs lights weren’t working either. I replaced the turn signal switch and problem solved. The reason I replaced the entire switch is because when I played around and flickered the fog light switch rapidly, sometimes it came on. Replaced it, problem solved. And its a fairly easy DIY task! Hope that helps.
