My engine wont shut off using the key

What is your question?

I went to turn my car off and the engine wouldnt shut down and the dash lights stayed on. The key can alson be remove and the car still wont shut off

These symptoms are indicative of a failed ignition switch. You may need to disconnect the battery to get it to shut off.

don't listen to the dumb that said disconnect the battery-take off the relay fuse or pull off the main wire to the distributor (be carefull)
