My engine coolant hot light has come on. What can I do to check this problem out?

Mr Roy thanks so very much for your answer. So I just need to fill the coolant back to the proper level and keep a check on it. Is that what you suggest at the moment?

yep. but the question remains where di it go. you should take it to a shop and have them add dye to the system and see where the leak is located. Roy
