What is your question?
It will struggle, chug a lot, and then shut down leaving no time to get to the side of the road. It will start up again right away. It's very random...

Hello duganharkins342605, Casey40510 has recommended a good test in terms of a diagnostic strategy. You noted that this issue is intermittent, how frequently does this concern present itself? With a pre-OBDII vehicle the check engine faults are not always the most reliable, with that said we would start our diagnostics by finding out what the computer is seeing as an issue and use this to dictate our diagnostic strategy. Please reach out if you have any quesions that we may be able to help with. Thanks, Joe -Elite AutoCare, Inc. www.EliteAutoCareEverett.com Eliteautocareeverett@gmail.com 425-374-3040
Hello, I believe your problem to be associated with the fuel pump, or fuel distribution. When the vehicle chugs to a stop, are you accelerating, slowing, or constant speed?
