What is your question?
Engine turns over fine. Intermittent problem. Failed to start then 4 hours later started normal. Would not start this morning
How long has your 2007 Audi A6 had this problem?

Hello, a concern where the engine will crank but not start indicates a problem with one or more of a few areas. You could have a fuel delivery problem. You could have a lack of ignition spark. Engine timing could be disrupted. Engine compression could be compromised. Proper air intake to the engine could be interrupted or too plentiful. Testing hands on is required to find out what is happening. Based on your basic description of the concern, i'd have a look at fuel delivery (check for fuel pressure at the engine, key on engine off), and check for ignition spark, (could be intermittently failing).
