My a/c quit working, then I had to replace a broken serpentine/ drive belt due to a broken tensioner. My a/c then worked a while and it's not working again. What could be the problem?

Air conditioner quit working Then serpentine/ drive belt broke. Had to replace belt and a tensioner. Air conditioning worked after replacing and quit again. Any help?
