My 2004 L300 will not start at times. It cranks, but does not turn over.

I've seen this posted several times, and there does not seem to be a clear answer. In our case, we've had the car 4 days and it hasn't started twice. It eventually started, but both times it was over an hour before the car would start. We thought it might be the anti theft system, but when we tried to recreate the issue, we could not. Car started fine. What could be causing this, or how can I best get it evaluated?
