What is your question?
Fuel pump good, relay switch good. No check engine light. Second time in few days after getting gas. Computer showing only 9 volts so that's low and fuses seem good and battery charged alternator good. There a gas leak code but now nothing again. Confusing.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It doesn't start so can't get worse.
How long has your 2005 Mini Cooper had this problem?
I just bought it four days ago. Drove once and then died.

Hello, You probably have a bad EVAP purge valve. The tell-tale sign for the purge valve failing is every time you get gas it takes a while to start, then it starts fine until you get gas again. It is not guaranteed, and there are several other issues you could be facing... What trouble code (the actual 5 digit code) did it give you?
I just asked and once he gets back to me I'll give you code. Thank you for responding.
Did not give code on scanners. Three tried.
Ok, diagnostic scanner time. It needs to be connected to a professional scan tool to run the fuel pump to check fuel pressure, check the status of the leak detection pump, and determine if there is a leak by checking the value returned by the fuel tank pressure sensor. This sounds complicated, but it really just describes two things: if there is a leak in the fuel tank, and if fuel is being sent to the engine. The funny thing is that a leak in the fuel tank can occur through the evaporative emissions system (EVAP) which captures fuel vapor from evaporating gas. This system purges the vapor into the engine at intervals. If the system is constantly purging air into the engine, but the engine does not expect the extra air, it will stumble, hesitate, be hard to start, or not start at all. The one thing I could recommend trying without a scan tool present is pinching the vacuum line from the EVAP system at the intake manifold. If you pinch it off and the engine starts, that's where your problem resides.
