I needed a manual for a 2003 S40 and found the costs to range from outrageous to rediculous. Go to ebay and do a search for Volvo manuals - I found a vendor who supplied copies of repair manuals, which he could immediately download, for the reasonable cost of $9.50. I'm sorry I can't remember the vendor's name, but if you do a search, you'll find him. That's how I found mine and it is identical to the original. Hope this helps.
