Low oil pressure light flash and car engine shut off now won’t crank only clicks

(2014 Chevrolet Impala Limited)
Low oil pressure light came on and car shut off. Will not crank now, only makes clicking noise. Is motor seized or is it some type of safety mode?

Do not know your skill level ..

Try to turn engine manually to determine IF engine has locked up..

There is no “safety mode”.

Gonna try that today. Had read if computer detects a problem it will shut motor down and cut off relay to ignition and fuel systems to prevent damage. This what is was referring to as safety mode. Was wondering if this happened if there was a reset that had to be done?

NO safety cut off - NO reset ..
